Coal India and Manganese Ore gains have really boosted the confidence of investors in the stock market. The initial public offering (IPO) of Punjab & Sind Bank has been subscribed 50.41 times. The issue got total bids of 2.01bn shares as against 40mn shares on offer, as per the data available with the National Stock Exchange. The IPO has received total binds of 4.82mn shares at cut-off price.

QIBs portion was subscribed 49.80 times, NII-85.84 times ,Employee quota was subscribed by 1.61 times.

EXPECTED ALLOTMENT :- No one will get confirm allotment. Allotment will be through Lottery system only.Applicant those who has applied for full application i.e 2 lakhs amount has higher chances of firm allotment (Around 80% applicant will get confirm allotment).

EXPECTED LISTING :- Above Rs 150.

The issue comprised a net issue to the public of 3.80 crore equity shares and a reservation of 20 lakh shares for subscription by eligible employees. A discount of 5% will be offered to retail bidders and employees. The price band for the IPO was Rs 113-120 per equity share.
At the lower end of the price-band, the issue will fetch Rs 452 crore to the bank, while on the upper end, it will mop up Rs 480 crore.

MOIL share price listing at 47% premium

The much awaited Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Manganese Ore India Limited (MOIL) has been listed on bourses today on December 15. The IPO, with a issue price of Rs 375 (Retailer got @ 355) , have listed at Rs 565 on BSE & NSE.

MOIL IPO has received the overwhelming response from the investors, with retail portion subscribed more than 33 times. We were expecting MOIL to list at Rs 500-550 per share as retail Investor got only the small portion of the quantity ofshares they had bid for.

MOIL offered Rs. 1,238-crore shares through initial public offering (IPO), which was subscribed 55 times the offer. The portion reserved for HNIs was bid 143 times, and the retail portion of the book was subscribed 33 times.

MOIL produces more than half the manganese ore used in India. It operates 10 mines in the states of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. It’s a debt-free company with cash reserves of Rs 1,770 crore, implying a cash per share of Rs 105.

For the half year ended September 30, the company’s turnover was at Rs 635 crore, compared with Rs 430 crore in the first half of the previous fiscal. Profit after tax for the first half of this year stood at Rs 330 crore against Rs 201 crore in the same period a year ago.

For FY10, MOIL reported a 70% operating margin and a 52% net profit margin. MOIL's revenues have grown at a compounded annual rate of 31.5% over FY06-FY 10 due to higher volumes and higher realizations. The company is one of the lowest cost producers of manganese ore, according to analysts tracking the sector.

Record Subscription: - MOIL IPO Gets Record 32 Times Retail Subscription

The MOIL IPOs retail subscription was subscribed more than 32 times, making it the largest in terms of subscription multiples for any primary market offering this year.

The MOIL issue, for retail and high net worth individuals, was subscribed 56.29 times, also one of the largest total subscription multiples seen in a primary market issuance this year.

The HNI portion was subscribed a record 144.9 times. The institutional portion, which closed on Tuesday, was subscribed more than 49 times.

Retail investors bid for 37.15 crore shares against the 1.15 crore shares on offer. MOIL is the third consecutive Government sector issuance that has received more than 10 lakh retail applications.It received close to 12 lakh retail applications.

Coal India’s Rs 15,000-crore IPO got 17.5 lakh retail applications and Power Grid’s Rs 7,500-crore follow-on offering got 15 lakh applications.

The Government, which planned to raise close to Rs 1,200 crore through the IPO, received subscriptions worth more than Rs 56,000 crore.

The price band for the issue was fixed at Rs 340-375 and the issue will be fixed on higher band i.e 375 .The company will not receive any proceeds from the offer and all proceeds shall go to the selling shareholders. Retail investors and MOIL employees will get shares at 5% discount to the final offer price.

Mazda Limited is predominantly an engineering company producing different types of engineering equipments like vacuum systems, evaporators, vacuum pumps. The equipments manufactured by the company are widely used in the petrochemicals, power generation, edible oil extraction, steel manufacturing and other industries. The company is in production of the equipments as per the clients requirements.

Technical Collaboration with Croll- Reynolds:- The Company is into technical collaboration with Croll- Reynolds Inc of USA for manufacturing of equipments used in turbines, Steam-Jet Injector that are used by power sector. Company 85-90% of exports orders are for Croll-Reynolds. As on date Croll-Reynolds holds 7 % stake in Mazda Ltd. Croll-Reynolds clients in India are being served by Mazda ltd.

Order Book:- The company currently has an order book of Rs.62 Crores for Vacuum division & 1.5 Crores for the food division, that has to be executed within the next 6 to 10 months. With the recovery in global economy, the company has witnessed significant increase in order inflow.

Sold Valve divison at higher Valuation of 22 Crs to Circor: - Company has sold its business of Valve division at higher valuation of 22 cr to Circor Flow Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. (Circor). All the assets of the valve division has been transferred to Circor & for the same the company has received the first tranche payment of 10 crs as per the terms of the BPA from Circor on June 01, 2010.

Expansion for Vaccum Divison :- Mazda ltd 4th unit is under construction and will be completed and fully operational by July 2011. Company has incurred Rs.5.2 Crores as capital expenditure on it. Company expects this expenditure to lead to an increase in sales by Rs. 20 Crores to Rs.30 Crores by FY 2011-12.

Recognition:- Company has a certification of authorization as an ASME ‘U’ Stamp holder. Importance of U Stamp holder is that there are certain activities in engineering sector which require only ‘U’ Stamp Design, and adding to that there are very few players w.r.t demand which provide such type of service. Company also has Surewin quality & OHSAS 18001: 2007 Certification.

Promoter Purchased 2,10,000 Shares (4.93% stake) @ Rs 126 Price from Croll- Reynolds in Off- Market Transaction :- In off Market Transaction Promoter has recently (Oct’10) purchased 4.93% stake (2.10 Lakhs shares) from Croll Reynolds at Price of 126. This shows the confidence in their own company. Now Current promoter holding stands at 33.42%. Which is quite reasonable. Last year also promoter made purchase of shares from the open cash market Purchase. Croll Reynolds still holds 7% stake in the company.

Financial Highlights :-

Debt Free: Mazda Ltd has a negligible debt on its books of around 0.44 Crores , where as it has equity capital of Just 4.26 Crores which translate into a extremely low debt to equity ratio of 0.1.

Past Track Record :-The company has done well over the years especially since FY 06. The company has been reporting sequential growth since then and has been able to expand it's margins thus bringing in operational efficiency.

Robust Growth :-The company has seen an exponential growth in its bottom-line from Rs 3.78crore at the end of Mar'06 to Rs 9.96 Crores at the end of Mar'10. Company has posted a sales growth of 25% CAGR since last 10 years while profit growth of 33% CAGR during same time. Avg. RoE and RoCE of 10 years are 21% and 25% which is quite good.

Good Cash Balance :-In the first quarter ending Jun'10, Mazda has come out with good performance. The net profit for the quarter ending Jun'10 stands at Rs 13.2 crore which includes 10.8 Crores of profit by sale of Valve Division under Extraordinary items.

Low Price to earning ratio (P/e) :-The company is trading at a Forward PE (FY 11 earnings) of 4 whereas Industry P/E stands at 18.6.Company is available at P.E of 4 which is approximately 1/4th of the PE commanded by it's larger counterparts. Although company is a small player in comparison to the counterparts, however it maintains one of the highest margins. There is high probability of PE re-rating at this counter.

Undervalued on every aspects :-

At C.M.P of Rs 112 ,Company is available at 47 crores market cap & has cash balance of 3 Crores at the end of the FY10 . Mazda has earned a profit of 10.8 crores via sale of Valve division to Circor flow. Which makes Company to trade at Enterprise value of less than 35 Crores

Company has sold its Valve divison at 22 crores. If noted company's Valve division was not performing up to the mark , however since last two years it has performed well. Whereas In FY 2009 Valve division has contributed only 16% on topline and 24% on the bottom line, on the other side Vacuum division of the company has contributed more than 80% on the top line and 70% in the net profit. If compared Margins of the two division, Vacuum divison has much greater margin than Valve divison.

If Valve business can alone fetch 22 Crores to the company than certainly entire Company (Vaccum divison and Food divison) should atleast command at 4 times the value given to Valve divison i.e 88 Crores. Whereas company's present market cap is only 46 crores with good amount of cash balance and negligible debt.

Considering the company is debt free, Cash rich, Operating in higher margin business Undervalued w.r.t peers, CAGR Growth @ 25 to 30%, available at attractive valuation of P/e of just 4 whereas the Industry P/e stands at more than 18, we have suggested a strong buy in two phases.
